Spreading Its Wings Over Pakistan | Iraqi Airways To Resume Services To Karachi & Islamabad

KARACHI: Wardah International Service, the GSA of Iraqi Airways in Pakistan has announced the resumption of Iraqi Airways scheduled services to Pakistan.

Mr. Basil Affendi, Chief Executive Wardah International Service while in Karachi recently he said, “We shall start our operations from Baghdad and Najaf to Karachi and Islamabad from the beginning of the next Islamic year i.e. 1st of Moharram. We will cater to the needs and wants of religious traffic and also promote tourism between Iraq and Pakistan.

Iraqi Airways appointed Wardah International Services (Pvt) Ltd as its GSA for Pakistan in July 2017. On January 28th 2018 Iraqi Airways’ first inaugural flight landed at Karachi airport.  Under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Basil Ahmed Affendi, Chief Executive, Iraqi Airways has successfully operated its schedule flights from Pakistan. The airline is to operate 4 weekly flights from Baghdad / Najaf to Karachi and 2 weekly flights from Baghdad / Najaf to Islamabad. The airlines plans to use  Boeing 737-800 aircraft in low seasons and in high seasons to operate B-747 & B 777 aircrafts to facilitate groups by uplifting maximum passengers with the seat configuration of Economy plus Business class, on this route.
