Forming Of ‘Professional Culinary Association of Pakistan’ | POHTM Takes a Major Step Forward

KARACHI: Professional Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management (POHTM) was pleased to have a formal gathering of senior chefs and media chefs on December 26, 2018. Mr. Mansoor Iqbal Siddique,  Director  POHTM and Chef Ghulam Muhammad, Executive Chef  POHTM welcomed the honorable guest and appreciated their presence. It was a pleasing sight to see all super food heroes gathered  in POHTM premises. The significant purpose of this meet up was to take a formal step towards forming a Professional Culinary Association of Pakistan.

The program catered the brief exchange of experiences and highlighted the concerns that professional and budding chefs face in the industry. It also discussed the role of educational institutions in this domain.

Chefs’ meet up had been very engaging and each chef contributed with their valuable inputs and insights. The concerns and ideas discussed in this meet up will be further carried to relevant government and private entities so this trade can progress at a faster pace as it deserves.
