LONDON: Corinthia Hotel London is named one of the Top 15 City Hotels in Europe by Readers of Travel + Leisure as part of the World’s Best Awards 2017. Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards survey asks readers to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. With the highest rating being a 96.26, Corinthia Hotel London came in with a score of 93.98.
Corinthia Hotel London’s Managing Director, Thomas Kochs, said about the Travel + Leisure Award, “It is especially gratifying to receive this honor from such a prestigious American travel publication since this is our largest market.” Kochs added, “and certainly the entire Corinthia London team is proud to be recognized by our valued guests as providing great service as well as maintaining the high standards that are expected of a luxury property in this city.”
The luxurious Corinthia Hotel London, opened in 2011, is situated in a Victorian building originally built as the Hotel Metropole. After the Second World War it was taken over by the Ministry of Defense where Winston Churchill once had his office. In 2007 it was restored to a hotel by Corinthia Hotels. Now, this 21st century grand hotel, located in the heart of London, is the award-winning flagship of the Corinthia Hotels’ luxury collection.
