CAA Cancels | Outsourcing of Major Airports

KARACHI: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has canceled the outsourcing of major airports including the New Islamabad International Airport, Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore and Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

On July 23, 2017, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) invited Request for Proposals (RFPs) from international companies for outsourcing the services of the three major airports in the country.

However, on Monday, July 24, CAA issued a public notice saying that Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has decided to annul/cancel the Expression of Interest (EoI) and its subsequent bidding process conducted pursuant to the advertisement published on February 7, 2017 for outsourcing major airports. It is further informed that EoI for outsourcing of airports services published on July 23, 2017 stands cancelled.
