Buzdar Inaugurates | TDCP’s First Motel In Nankana Sahib

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has inaugurated the first Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) motel at Nankana Sahib which was completed at a cost of Rs 130 million. He was accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Brig Ijaz Shah (R), members of the assembly and district administration. Hed expressed his satisfaction that the new facility will provide best facilities to the Sikh pilgrims and other tourists. “Under a policy of religious harmony, the Punjab government is providing best facilities to the Sikh community at their religious places,” he added.

Usman Buzdar also laid the foundation stone of Baba Guru Nanak University which is first of its kind in the province. This university will spread over 10 acres of land and it will be constructed with an amount of Rs 6 billion.

Meanwhile, addressing a gathering, Buzdar said that development of all the areas will be ensured and added that neglected districts like Nankana Sahib will be brought at par with developed cities.

“Establishment of Baba Guru Nanak University in Nankana Sahib is part of the Prime Minister’s vision. Development schemes for Nankana Sahib and other districts will be continued. The repair and construction of roads will help to increase the opportunities of development and prosperity of the people,” he added.
