Avari Towers Organises | Danish Food Festival

KARACHI: Avari Towers, Karachi brought yet another delectable Food Festival. After French Food Festival, Italian Food Festival, Australian Food Festival and German Food Festival this festival featured food from Denmark for the people of Pakistan. The festival took place at Asia Live from 14th to 23rd November, 2019.

Food festivals of Avari Towers are the most amazing ones if one want to try food from different cultures and regions. Festival started with an excellent performance by Danish Rock Band “Rocqawali” on 13th November, 2019. The lead Danish guitarist Jonas Stampe came to Pakistan years back to seek his Pakistani roots and became student of the great qawwals Meher Ali & Sher Ali. He quickly developed a musical bond with their son and singer Ejaz Sher Ali who is also in band now. Rocqawali is a bridge over the cultural and geographical distance between Denmark and Pakistan. The combination of these two worlds gives the band a unique character that´s quite unlike most other bands one is likely to hear.

Asia Live was decorated with a theme that portrayed Denmark’s culture and scenic views. Ambiance created a perfect environment to enjoy the traditional Danish menu. There was a wide spread of buffet inclusive of starters, Entrées and dessertswhich was specially prepared by Danish Chef Casper.

The meal began with Potato soup which was heavenly and to die for. Moving on to the main dishes everything was delicious and satisfied cravings to the core. From cajon marinated fillet of chicken to stuffed striploin with rosemary jus everything was perfectly cooked. It was indeed difficult to select which dish aced up at the Food Festival.

Let’s look forward to the next Food Festival that Avari Towers will brings for us!
