A day aimed at recognizing women empowerment across the globe was observed across the group with events hosted at the corporate office and the hotels. With ‘Balance for Better’ being the theme this year, the women and men of Hashoo Group corporate office, Islamabad Marriott Hotel and Pearl-Continental Hotel Rawalpindi gathered to listen to inspiring talks from women and men in leadership roles. The inspiring messages spoke about how far gender diversity has come, as well as how roles have transformed over the years and how a lot more needs to be done.

In an address to employees, Chief Human Resource Officer, Fauzia Ahmad spoke about the challenges faced by women around the world and how we can overcome them. “The theme this year is Balance for Better, encouraging us to analyze how we can forge a more gender-balanced organization and better world,” said Fauzia Ahmad in an address to employees. “We need to address all the social inequalities hindering women’s advancement to create a better-balanced society and nation. We must reinforce that inclusion and diversity is everyone’s responsibility.”

The event proceeded to messages from Chief Sales Marketing and Revenue Officer Lashley Pulsipher, Azam Jamil Vice President Hashoo School of Hospitality Management, and Ayesha Khan Country Director Hashoo Foundation. Ending with fun activities planned for the participants.
