KARACHI: To explore and promote trade opportunities between the two countries, a three-day single country Thailand Exhibition was inaugurated on 1-3 September at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi. The exhibition was organized by Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government with the support of Royal Thai Consulate-General Karachi from 1 September to 3 September at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi.
President KCCI, Mr. Muffasar Atta Malik inaugurated the exhibition along with H.E. Khun Apipan Cheecharoen, acting Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate-General Karachi, Mr. Suebsak Dangboonrueng, Director Thai Trade Centre, Dhaka, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, Mr. Arif Suleman, Honorary Trade Advisor, Thailand and Director Event & Conference International Mr. Rashid ul Haq.
More than 50 Thai companies displayed their products from more than 10 categories of different products including foods and beverages, home textiles, furniture, health and beauty, hardware, machinery, household items, footwear, party accessories, jewelry cleaner, electrical appliances etc.
Overall, the exhibition was very successful in attracting large crowds from morning to till late evenings of 3rd September and proved a very productive event for promoting and exploring new trade avenues between Thailand and Pakistan.
