KARACHI: Last week Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI) organised the 14th My Karachi – Oasis of Harmony Exhibition at Karachi Expo Centre. The event, by all means was a thumbing success where thousands of people visited the Expo and appreciated the arrangements good quality, and vast variety of products on display.
Among all, the centre of attraction for all the visitors was the colourful Thailand Pavilion setup by the Royal Thai Consulate, Karachi, where all Thai products which are being imported by Pakistani businessmen were displayed in an organised manner.
Reaching at Expo Centre H.E. Suwat Kaewsook, Consul General Royal Thai Consulate, Karachi along with his wife, were warmly welcomed by Mr. Arif Sulemen, President Pak-Thai Friendship Association & Business Forum and Mr. Rashid Siddiqui, Manager Marketing and Administration Thai Airways International and Mr. Mubeen Ansari. They visited all the stalls and took keen interest in the products on display.
Many high profile Dignitaries, government officials and VIPs including Mayor Karachi Mr. Wasim Akhtar, Director General Rangers Sindh, Major General Mohammad Saeed, Consul General of Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam visited Thailand Pavilion.
Watching and enjoying of famous Thai sport, Thai Kick Boxing was all together a very unique experience for the visitors. They were very impressed & amazed to see the level of skill and technique the players exhibited. H.E. Suwat Kaewsook and his wife distributed gifts and certificates among the players.
Lucky Draw among the visitors kept the interest high till the end. On the third day winners of the luck draw were announced by Mr. Suwat Kaewsook, Mr. Arif Sulemen and Mr. Rashid Siddiqui. The winners of the lucky draw were delighted to get fabulous gifts, particularly the person who won the Thai Airways free KHI-BKK-KHI Ticket in lucky draw.
Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI), as a symbol of appreciation presented a Memento to Mr. Suwat Kaewsook, Consul General Royal Thai Consulate for setting up such an attractive and colourful pavilion.
