KARACHI: From the 6th to 12th November 2017 Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi hosted ‘Punjabi food festival’ at Chandni Restaurant. Known to celebrate the different Provinces of Pakistan, this time PC chose Punjab which is known for its vibrant and rich culture, bhangra beats and is famous for its diverse variety in food.
Chandni Restaurant is known around the nation for serving their customers traditional and authentic Pakistani dishes with a live cooking station. The food was prepared by the Executive Chef of PC Mr. Torsten Schubert and his team who are currently the most experienced, critically acclaimed and accomplished chefs in the country, very thoughtfully they selected the most popular Punjabi dishes and cooked them with the utmost authenticity. An extensive buffet was displayed which included Sarson Ka Saag, Lahori Chargha, Makaai Ki Roti, Tawa Qeema, Murgh Cholay and many more. Live Punjabi instrumental music was playing in the background and since Chandni is located on the top floor, the roof-top city view was providing the customers with an impeccable view making it a perfect ambiance along with which an excellent service was provided resulting in it being a memorable dining experience.
The main purpose of the Punjabi food festival was to cater and provide food lovers and especially Punjabi food lovers of the city with a vast variety of authentic and delicious Punjabi cuisine and ensured this by using the finest ingredients, packing each dish with flavor and cooking it to perfection.
