Delving Into The Artistry of Pashtun Cuisine | Pearl Continental Karachi Organizes Five-Day Festival

KARACHI: Known to celebrate the individuality, diversity and cultures of Pakistan’s Provinces and cities, Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi hosted ‘Peshawari Food Festival’ from the 11th to 15th of April at the renowned Chandni restaurant.   

Haseena Moin, an acclaimed Pakistani dramatist, playwright, and scripter inaugurated the festival along with Mr. Aslam Khan – Hotel Manager, Laila Naz – Marcom Manager and other Senior Management of the Hotel.

An extensive buffet display consisting some of the most popular dishes in Pashtun cuisine, including Chapli Kebab, Mutton Karachi, Peshawari Pulao, Reshmi Kebab, Chicken boti and more was prepared by the joint efforts of Mr. Khwaja – Sous Chef along with his team and Torsten Schubert – Executive Chef PC Hotel. The food was cooked to the utmost perfection, authenticity and tasted absolutely delectable and flavorsome.

To provide all guests with a delightful and memorable Peshawari experience and to keep them entertained, musicians played Peshawari folk music throughout the evening. The restaurant was also adorned in typical Peshawari designs in regards to the festival. Along with an excellent ambiance with guests were provided with an excemplary service resulting in a memorable dining experience. Chandni Restaurant remained fully packed through the night.
