Hashwani Meets Buzdar | Both Discuss Matters Related To Tourism

LAHORE: CEO & Deputy Chairman Hashoo Group, Mr. Murtaza Hashwani met Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here at his office on Thursday, 17 October.

The matters relating to the promotion of tourism and its allied services in the province came under discussion.

On the occasion, the CM said, “Tourism sector is badly ignored in the past, but it will be developed on modern lines now.” New tourist spots have been identified and promotion of such places would help to encourage and promote the tourism industry, he maintained.

The CM said it would also help attract investment and as a result, new opportunities of employment would be created.

He said that Fort Munro and Sulaiman Mountain resorts would also be developed to encourage tourism.

Similarly, the vast outback of Cholistan desert would be developed to make it attractive for tourists.

Usman Buzdar said trade and industrial sector would also grow with the promotion of tourism, he added.

Mr. Murtaza Hashwani appreciated the steps taken by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for the promotion of tourism and said that hotel industry commends these efforts of the Punjab government.
